This was my first experience with Tibetan food-- everything was so delicious and comforting. The server was very attentive and happy to answer any questions about the menu. Our party had a mix of meat-eaters / pescatarian / vegetarians, and we were able to find dishes for all of us to enjoy. Must try: The Momo dumplings. Everyone also enjoyed the Tibetan buttered tea (or, for alchohol drinkers, the Hot Buttered Sake). Very unique flavor but so comforting on a cold and rainy night.

The food here incredible! We had the vegetarian and the potato dumplings and the shambala curry. Everything was so fresh and flavorful. This food is high frequency- I felt elevated and even healthier after eating it! The hot sauce was also perfection. Our server was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was lovely and had a peaceful energy. If we lived in Berkeley we would be here frequently.

Always my go to place when I visit the area. Their momos are the best I've ever had. The staff is friendly and business is family owned. Great vibes as well.

Oh my! Dropped in on a random Friday night and we got seated right away. We requested the larger gathering table in the back so it was a nice private and authentic feel. The staff was quick to assist and friendly. Our waiter constantly checked in on us which I appreciated. We tried a few items from the menu and everything was packed with delicious flavors and spices and was cooked perfectly. Everything was too good that I forgot to get a photo of the chicken and veggie momos with their special hot sauce on the side and WOW! Loved everything we ordered. Can't wait to go back to explore the menu more. Loved trying a new cuisine!

As a Tibetan cuisine newbie, I was blown away. We savored the spicy chicken gya-thuk, beef momo, and the outstanding lamb shank. The Tibetan black tea was a unique delight. The lamb shank stole the show with its tender meat, luscious sauce, and intriguing accompaniments. Nomad offers a journey of tastes and textures that's truly unforgettable. Can't wait to return for more!
